before i forget what i dreamt...

today while lying in bed i had a dream..
i walked out my door and noticed the house was higher off the ground than it really is..
i believe i had gavin in my arms but im not to clear..
i saw what looked like my dad with his back towards me dressed in his old dusty flannel shirt covered by sawdust and old trucker style hat, "peeing" on front of the house, but when i shouted " you could have came inside and use the bathroom", i noticed once he turned around he was holding the watering hose and spraying water on the ground.
the scene turned to me walking around to the side of the house and the back door was open, a screen was on the door but was also opened and two people (one being my aunt) were sorting out clothes on the floor while gavin ran towards me to come out the door.
i picked him up and he felt a little more heavier than usual while he tried to get out of my arms but he wasnt dressed enough to be outside..
my godson "jamarr" came around the house, nude, stepping in the mud that i guess was made from the hose so i yelled to my aunt, "somebody get jamarr he dont have no clothes on!"
once again the scene changed to me now walking with gavin in the back of the yard which had been transformed in to a huge playground with every type of swing, slide and riding toy imaginable..
i also notice my house was being worked on by my dad and some guy in a red truck whom i couldnt make out..
i walked up to him with gavin in my arms, i was overwhelmed by emotion and my tears wouldnt come out as he reached for gavin and gavin reached while doing the baby thing of putting his hand in my dads mouth..

the reason this was so emotional for me is because gavin was born after my dad's alzheimer had taken over but in the dream he was the way he was before that, and them meeting was monumental.

i awoke to semi water filled eyes and the sound of light female type voices but the tv nor radio was on...

my dad "arthur james boutte" passed on saturday august 15th 2009
